MISSING PHOTOS: There are still many subspecies for which I still do not have photos. These are listed on the Missing Photographs page. If anyone can help me and send me any, I would be eternally grateful. You would, of course have full recognition, and the photos would remain under your copyright.

I am also grateful to Mr. Kazuyoshi Yoshima who advised me of a couple of error regarding Delias. lativitta. Accordingly I have replaced photos of D. l. yunnana and added a male of  D. l. tai (paratype) both from his collection.

DELIAS PAGES -At very long last I have processed photos received nearly a year ago. Sorry Henk for the delay. All photos uploaded are courtesy of Henk van Mastrigt and are from Koleksi Serangga Papua (Papua Insect Collection).

I still have photos from other sources to add. The rainy season will shortly be here (it seems like it has been here already for 2 months!), so I should be able to get myself completely up to date with new photos, and pages relating to new species/subspecies described in the last 2-3 years.

DELIAS PAGES - Only last stage to go with regards to the new photos (there are at least 50 new ones). I simply can't remember how to transfer the cut out butterfly from the original photo onto the new transparent background! Please be patient!

DELIAS PAGES - It appears I have forgotten how to put the photos onto a transparent background! Accordingly there will be some delay in the placing of the new photos. However, I am working on it.

KOH SAMUI PAGES - Basic individual pages are uploaded for all the families except the Satyridae, Lycanidae and Hesperidae where certain identifications need to be confirmed. Also a single page for the Odonata (Dragon and Damselflies) has been added.

The Koh Samui photos are now available. Just click on the ' Koh Samui ' sign above.

I have also checked that the site can now be seen for those who use Firefox instead of Internet Explorer, as I had discovered that the FF users sometimes had jumbled pages.

Hooray, I've finally managed to get a FTP program that works. Hopefully, I will now be able to get a few updates done. There a few new photos to be uploaded, and some new information including new species and subspecies. I have also been preparing a side site, with photos of species I have found on Koh Samui since my arrival.

THERE MAY BE A SHORT PERIOD WHERE THIS SITE IS NOT AVAILABLE WHILST VARIOUS UPGRADES ARE BEING UNDERTAKEN. PLEASE ACCEPT MY APOLOGIES.

At very long last, I am now in residence in Thailand. There is still a lot to sort out, but having obtained a newly released book, Butterflies of Thailand, by Pisuth Ek-Amnuay (Amarin Printing and Publishing Public Co. Ltd, Bangkok, 2006), the Thailand page in the Distribution section has now been updated.
