Notes         :
A rare species, found in very few collections, owing to its isolation and very limited range. It was first found at Araucaria Camp at 800 metres in March and April 1939, but it took until 1955 for it to be described as a new species. As it is so unlike any other species, this is rather mystifying.

The specimen shown above was collected at about 1000 metres, south of the Star Mountains.
