Delias of Central Province

This province contains the majority of the Owen Stanley Range. The Northern Province tends to only have the northern foothills, but nevertheless shares many of the species.

Several of the species/subspecies to be found here are endemic to the province.

The area is particularly well known as the world famous Kokoda Trail wends it's way from Kokoda to Port Moresby, and is found in many trekking holiday lists, due to it's World War II connections.
