from the Indonesia (particularly the Moluccas or Malaku region) . However, I am happy to confirm that the quality

The Insect Company - An Australian Company, run by Clive Pratt, who has donated many of the photographs on this site. A HUGE range of species available at a reasonable price and good quality. They are always happy to assist with any enquiries. Chaminade - A French site with an excellent range, and very speedy service. Well recommended to have a look Ken Thorne - Canadian Company with another massive range. The web site has recently been completely updated and the species available make this site well worth a visit. Insect Trade - A Canadian business which appears to have a fine range of species. I have not yet done business with this Company, but they have some very unusual species on their list. Insects Tropicaux - French site that has a good range on species. Regular updates. Ornithoptera - A site from France that has a large range of species, though not all are always available. It also has a reasonable range of equipment listed. Australian Entomological Supplies PTY Ltd - An excellent list of anything you could want for collecting or rearing. Hillside books - A good range of entomological books. If you can not see what you want, they will place it on their wants list. Watkins & Doncaster - An English Company of over 100 years standing. Specialises in equipment for both rearing and collecting. Anglian Lepidopterist Supplies - Another British Company, also providing equipment for rearing and collecting. |

Insect.net - A free site to advertise any insects you would like to buy/sell or exchange. There is also a discussion forum. Very much recommended. Univershell Company - A site in two halves, one devoted to seashells, the other to butterflies. Many original features. Checklist of the Butterflies of Thailand Butterflies Starting Page - An excellent site from which to find out almost anything relating to Butterflies on the net. Amateur Entomologist - A beautiful site, created by Laurent Lecerf, with a wide range of topics to interest most entomologists. |
