		A group of small to medium-sized butterflies confined to Irian Jaya and Papua New Guinea. Found only in the mountain ranges of the island, many new subspecies are still being discovered, and the status of some are being debated at length. There is no fixed pattern to the group, which can only be identified through detailed examination of the genitalia and scent-scales.
