This is another large and widespread group ranging from India to New Guinea and the Solomons.

All the species have a greater part of the underside hind wing yellow, white or orange with no specific marking. the exception is D. apatela which has a white post-discal line. The border of the wing is dark, and usually has a series of spots.

There is one member of the group which is not well placed, D. echidna
