Species details : At first glance, this species can easily be mistaken for members of the Eurema genus. However, the underside is entirely featureless, and therefore, when settled, can easily be identified.

This is a common species of woodland and its edges, and can be commonly seen drinking from the edges of streams and roadside seepages. Unlike the Eurema sp., however, it rarely congregates in large numbers.

Larval Foodplant : Ventilago species (Rhamnaceae)

Range                    : Peninsular Thailand and Mainland Malaysia. (Other subspecies from Sikkim, through the Archipelago to New Guinea).
