Species details : Sexes similar. A beautiful species which can be found anywhere on the Island except in densest forest. A strong and rapid flyer, it loves to suck up minerals from roadside seepages. Larval Foodplant : Many species of Mimosaceae. Range : Sri Lanka to S. China, Thailand and peninsular Malaysia. Other subspecies from Sundaland, Lesser Sunda Islands and the Philippines. |
