Species details : Sexes similar.
Although regularly seen, it can not be described as common. Generally to be found in forest clearings. This is the only member of this genus found on Samui to have orange markings. It can, however, be mistaken for members of both Lasippa and Pantoporia genera.

Larval Foodplant : Not known
Range : Peninsular Thailand, Malaysia and Sumatra. Other subspecies from N. E. India to West China, Borneo, Java and Mentawi Islands.
