Species details : The infrequent records of this species may well be due to its similarity to several other species. This is a butterfly of forests and forest edges.

Early stages          : Known, but not pictured.

Larval Foodplant :Pternandra echinata (Melastomataceae)

Range                    : S. Burma and Peninsular Thailand. Other subspecies in  Mainland Malaysia and Sundaland, including Palawan.
