Species details : A species commonly found at forest edges, but, unlike the other members of this genus, very rarely visits gardens.

Larval Foodplant : Strobilanthus dyeriana (Acanthaceae)

Range                    : Peninsular Thailand and Malaysia (Not Singapore or far S. of Malaysia), Sumatra and Borneo. Other subspecies from N. E. India to China, Australia and Solomon Islands.
