Species details : A rare species on Samui,
usually found in and around forested areas. Both
sexes have the upperside forewing brightly suffused with iridescent
blue. The male is unusual as it has two brands on the forewing
upperside. Early Stages
: Only partially known Larval
Foodplant : Ichneocarpus frutescens (Apocynaceae)
Range
: Sri Lanka, India, throughout tropical Asia through to New
Guinea, Australia and the Bismarck Islands.
